This is an opportunity to have a big impact in the R&D and process development
of a III-V materials industry leader. This brand new position was set up by the CEO.
R&D has dipped away at this company and your job will be to help bring it back, come up
with new ideas from talking with the customer and successfully complete current projects
(ie. germanium project for satellite space technology). This person will be someone whose
focus will be task oriented and will be expected to complete the current projects by
tying everything together, implementing the process development and getting things up
and running. This position requires you to have prior experience in substrate wafer
fab, process development, III-V materials (not devices) and excellent project management
skills. Your role will be to communicate with the customer, play the middle man taking
ideas from R&D and work them into a process and technology product. This requires you
to be a leader, have past success in handling projects and implementing processes.
Production is over in China and this position will require 30-40% travel to China
(initially 2 weeks in China and 2 weeks in USA), so it is key to speak Mandarin
Chinese.
Key "must haves":
- speak Chinese and English
- project management skills
- III-V materials experience
