Crystal IS, Inc. seeks engineers and scientists for process equipment and manufacturing process development in support of their world leading effort in native single-crystal aluminum nitride (AlN) development and manufacturing. Technical expertise sought includes crystal growth equipment engineering, crystal growth process development, crystal growth process modeling, and instrumentation support. Experience in both semiconductor manufacturing and Quality Management Systems (QMS) is desired. The position involves extensive interaction with in-house crystal growth experts and design/engineering responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Determination of crystal growth equipment and process requirements
- Theoretical and/or experimental verification of models
- Equipment design
- Sensor and automation integration
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in physical sciences or engineering discipline
- Excellent written and oral communication ability
- Hands-on equipment building and/or trouble shooting experience
- Demonstrated aptitude with analysis tools (CAD, FEM, CFD, spreadsheet, programming
languages, database)
- Experience with sensor circuit interfacing, data acquisition, and control
