AACG Crystal Growth Awards
| AACG welcomes nominations for the AACG Crystal Growth Award, the Young Author Award, and the Gentile Service Award to be presented at ACCGE-16. | |||
| The AACG Award is presented to a leading member of the crystal growth community for important and sustained contributions. The original theoretical or experimental work must continue to stimulate others in the field to excel and to have made significant scientific or technological impact. The winner will deliver a lecture at ACCGE-16 and receive an engraved award and a $3000 cash prize. | |||
| The Young Author Award is presented to a candidate less than 35 years of age for fresh and imaginative contributions to the field of crystal growth. This work must have been performed in the United States, after his or her formal training and subsequently published in refereed journals. The winner will receive a framed citation and a $1000 award. | |||
| In 1999, the AACG Executive Committee initiated the Gentile Service Award in honor of Anthony (Tony) Gentile who served as the first Executive Administrator of the association. The Award recognizes distinguished service to the crystal growth community. | |||
