ACCGE-16

The Sixteenth American Conference on Crystal Growth and Epitaxy, ACCGE-16, will provide a forum for the presentation and discussion of recent research and development activities in all aspects of bulk crystal growth and epitaxial thin film growth, with sessions integrating fundamentals, experimental and industrial growth processes, characterization, and applications. Contributed papers will be accepted in all relevant areas. In addition to focused sessions listed in the call for papers, other sessions may be organized based upon the topical distribution of contributed papers. The conference will include both oral and poster sessions. The ACCGE meeting will be held jointly with the 12th Biennial (US) Workshop on Organometallic Vapor Phase Epitaxy. The format of the joint conference will consist of 4 parallel sessions, 3 for ACCGE, and one for the OMVPE. The meetings will all be held in the Big Sky Resort. A single registration fee will permit attendees to attend any session in both meetings. A list of focused sessions together with the relevant chairs is given below:

Plenary Talks:

Art Gossard, University of California Santa Barbara will present "Growth and doping behavior of epitaxial metal nanoparticles in semiconductors"
and
Frances Ross, IBM T.J. Watson Research Center will present "Nanowire formation: real time observations of catalyzed crystal growth"
