A Photo Contest will be held during the conference. Submitted
photographs will be displayed in a prominent location at the meeting, affording a great opportunity to publicize the unique
qualities of your work. To participate, submit photographs portraying scientific, technical and/or artistic aspects of crystals,
crystal growth, or characterization. Photographs illustrating how not to grow crystals will also be accepted. Conference attendees
will vote on the technical content, technical presentation, and aesthetic appeal of each entry.
Awards
Winners will be announced at conference banquet. Prizes will be
given to the winner and to the best student entry, and the first and
second runners up will receive awards. The winning photos will be published in the AACG Newsletter, if the format allows.
Rules
Previous entries are not acceptable
Entries should be mounted on a stiff backing and should be no larger than 21 by 28 cm.
Entries should be clearly labeled with the following information:

Concise title.

Twenty-five to 75-word description of the technical
significance of the entry.

Submitters’ name and affiliation.
Submissions for the student category should be clearly labeled as such.
Company/Institution/University logos can be included and will be displayed with the
submission(s).
Photos should be submitted at the time of Registration and will be returned at the end of the conference. Questions and comments can be sent to
