You are cordially invited to attend CCCG-12 and welcome to Visit Shanghai which is the largest industrial, financial, monetary and commercial city in China. Many famous historical and beautiful spots in the city, such as Shanghai Museum, Yuyuan Garden, Buddha Temple Orient Pearl Tower and Nan Pu Bridge and in neighbored cities, such as Suzhou Wuxi Nanjing etc., have attracted tourists in the world. A variety of social activities will be organized by CCCG- 12.

SCOPE OF THE CONFERENCE
The Chinese Crystal Growth and Materials SubSociety (CCGMS) Affiliated to Chinese Ceramics Society announces that the Twelfth Chinese Conference on Crystal Growth (CCCG- 12) will be held in May, 2000 in Shanghai CCCG-12 will provide a forum for presentation and discussion of recent progress on growth and material of crystals, including bulk and thin Film; Sessions will focus attention on the full range of crystal materials and their scientific and technical issues. Contributed papers will be accepted in all relevant areas of crystal material sciences.
SESSIONS TO BE INCLUDED:
· Fundamental of crystal growth and exploration of new crystals;
· Growth from melt; · Growth from solution or flux;
· Vapor and low dimension growth
· Functional properties, structure and defects;
· Processing and application of crystals;
· Technology and equipment
CONTRIBUTED PAPERS:
Authors arc requested to submit the abstract of contributed papers in Chinese or English and the abstract should emphasize the results of the work. -- The single-spaced abstract can be prepared on A4 or 8 1/2 x 11 paper, and should fit on one page within a space 16 cm wide and no greater than 24 cm length. - -- -- The author names, address, telephone and fax numbers, E-mail address should be included. Please indicate the corresponding author. Send all abstracts to the designated chair of program and organization committee:
