Conference Location & Facilities

The conference location is at the Stanford Sierra Camp at Fallen Leaf Lake in the Sierra Nevada Mountains near Lake Tahoe.  Two and three bedroom condominium style units open onto private decks with views of Fallen Leaf Lake and the Sierra Nevada.  Excellent meals are the tradition.  Beer and wine are provided at social hours.  Major airlines serve the Reno area and the conference site can be reached easily by major state highways.  Approximate driving time from  San Francisco is 4.5 hours and from Reno International Airport is 1.5 hours.  Details on transportation and the camp can be found in the following web site: <http://sunsite.stanford.org/SOLAR/saa/SierraCamp/sierracamp.html>
