Crystal IS, Inc is currently seeking a Sr. Epitaxy Engineer for
development of optoelectronic devices operating in the UV spectral range.
Material areas will focus on high Al content epitaxial films, p-doping,
strain management and interface formation. Position will also be
responsible for design of experiments and material characterization on
sapphire and AlN substrates. Reporting to the VP of Device Development,
the successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing data and
implementing continuous improvement measures to advance the state-of-the-art
device performance. He/She will also assist in transferring design and
process improvements from research and development into production.
The candidate is required to have practical and theoretical experience
in OMVPE growth in the nitride materials system and have good analytical
skills to improve material quality based on test results. A proven track
record in new product development and a strong background in semiconductor
material science and device physics are required. Candidates must have a
Ph.D. in Physics or Engineering or a M.S. in Engineering/Physics/Material
Science with over 5 years relevant experience.
