Opportunities exist for a Sr. Device Fabrication Engineer for
development of AlGaN-based optoelectronic devices operating in the
UV spectral range. Responsibilities include device fabrication and
process improvements of LEDs on both sapphire and AlN substrate platforms.
This position will also manage in-house and outsourced device fabrication
activities. Reporting to the VP of Device Development, the successful
candidate will be responsible for analyzing data and implementing
continuous improvement measures to advance the state-of-the-art device
performance. He/She will also identify areas requiring improvement
and implement experimentation and/or corrective actions to optimize
the device fabrication process steps. Practical and theoretical
experience in LED fabrication preferably in the nitride materials system
is required. A proven track record in new product development and a
strong background in device fabrication processes are required.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Physics or Engineering or a M.S. in
Engineering/Physics/Material Science with over 5 years relevant experience.
