- Develop and/or enhance polishing and cleaning processes.
- Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in either Chemistry, Physics, or Material
Science. Minimum 5 years “hands on” experience in manufacturing
facility. Willing to work in China for minimum of 8 week intervals.
- Desired/Preferred
- Experience in compound semiconductor materials (Group III-V)
such as GaAs and InP or semiconductor materials such as
silicon. Familiar with state-of-the-art cleaning processes.
Fluent in Mandarin Chinese.

AXT, Inc. is a 22 year old company with headquarters in Fremont,
California and manufacturing facility outside of Beijing, China in the
province of Tongzhou. It is the largest compound semiconductor
manufacturing facility in the world with 800+ employees and 100,000 square
