Job ID #: 1646BR Essential Functions and Duties: Manage supplier development, create development plans for domestic as well as foreign suppliers to meet Lam quality and productivity standards. Job involves a significant amount of project management skills, coordinating between supplier needs and Lam needs. Manage and create risk mitigation strategies and develop trade off studies. Work with cross functional teams to record and optimize manufacturing process for product yield and cost reduction. Individual must be able to fluently communicate technical ideas and concepts translating between English, Korean and or Mandarin both verbally and in writing. Develop new products in conjunction with suppliers to meet the performance needs of new product development. Using industry standard process control techniques such as six sigma techniques to manage and develop production efficiencies and quality for Lam products. Work both in Korea, China and the United States. Job requires as much as a 50% or more time in each location, depending on project demand. Qualifications: Min 7 years experience in engineering hardware manufacturing experience. Ideal candidate will have knowledge of complex machined metal components, secondary finishing operations for machined metal components such as anodizing and other plating processes. Experience with coating technologies such as thermal spray is also desirable. Ability to manage a complex project among many teams is a must.
