Our client is a growing solar manufacturing company. They are seeking a Manager – Silicon Casting Technology. Responsibilities: Conduct research in advanced multicrystalline silicon casting technology for growing larger and high life time multicrystalline silicon ingots. Process control and continuous improvement to decrease the cost of the crystal growing process. Organize testing of various feed stock and develop new feed stock mix for casting process Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in managing research program - budget, schedule and technical progress Demonstrated understanding of thermal modeling, effect of crystal defects on device performance. Proven ability to conduct research and work with universities, and various organizations within the company. Masters or PhD degree in materials science/metallurgy. 5 years of experience in Silicon crystal growth or related field Good communication skills in English, written and oral.
